WordPress plugins

We publish 7 WordPress plugins, and every one of them is free. They run our own hosting fleet, so they are built for scale and security rather than as add-ons to upsell — GPL-licensed, translation-ready, and installed and activated against WordPress 7.1 before any release ships.

Browse by what you need

Every plugin, grouped by the job it does. Each one has its own page with what it does, why it matters, screenshots and the requirements.

Speed and caching

Serving pages from cache instead of rebuilding them, and purging accurately when they change.

Media and storage

Images and video are the largest thing most sites serve. These move that weight off your web server.

Publishing and languages

Getting content onto a site, and serving it in every language you sell in.

Selling hosting

For agencies and resellers who sell Zinn® hosting from their own site, under their own brand.

Fingerprint and privacy

Reducing what a site reveals about itself, and denying the crawlers that map link graphs.

Which cache plugin do I need?

Exactly one of them. They are different plugins doing different jobs, not a free and a paid tier of one.

  • Hosted with us — Zinn® Cache. Your Zinn® server already runs the page cache, and this is what controls it and connects it to your dashboard. It is installed for you when your site is provisioned. Read more
  • Hosted anywhere else — Zinn® Cache Engine. Your host provides no cache layer, so this one brings its own engine, plus database cleanup and asset optimisation. Read more

You never need both. If both are ever active they cooperate rather than conflict, but in normal use you install one.

One panel in wp-admin, on every Zinn® plugin

Every plugin here adds the same small panel to your WordPress dashboard: the user guide for each plugin you have installed, and links to the services it works with. It is the same guide we link from this site, so there is one article per plugin rather than two that drift apart.

The panel as it appears in wp-admin, listing a guide per plugin.

Download

No account and no sign-up. Each file is served from our own infrastructure with its SHA-256 checksum beside it, so you can confirm that what you downloaded is what we published.

Updates

On a site we host, these plugins are configured to update themselves: they check with us and WordPress installs the new version for you, with the download verified against its published checksum first. On a WordPress we do not host, there is nothing to configure and nothing phones home — come back to this page when you want the newest version, or watch the plugin's GitHub releases.

Licence and source

Every plugin here is released under the GNU General Public License and its full source is on GitHub, so you can read exactly what runs on your site before you install it. They are built to WordPress.org plugin-directory standards: coding standards, security review, no PHP notices, and translation-ready in every language we sell in.

Questions

Are these plugins free?

Yes. Every plugin on this page is free to download and use, with no account, no sign-up and no licence key. They are released under the GNU General Public License.

Do they work with the latest version of WordPress?

Yes. Before any release is published we install and activate it on a fresh copy of the current stable WordPress, with WooCommerce alongside, and load the front end and the admin — a release that raises a single PHP notice does not ship. The "Tested up to" column above is that test, not an estimate.

Do I have to host with you to use them?

No. They install on any WordPress site on any host. Some features need our platform — the cache plugins need a LiteSpeed server with the LSCache module, and the connector and reseller toolkit talk to your Zinn® account — and each one degrades gracefully where a capability is absent.

How do I know the download has not been tampered with?

Each row shows the SHA-256 checksum of the file we published, and the download itself returns the same value in an X-Zinn-Package-SHA256 header. Compare it against the file you received. The plugins' own updater performs the same check automatically before WordPress installs anything.

How do updates reach my site?

It depends on where the site is. On a site we host, the plugin is already configured against our update service: it checks for a new version, verifies the download against the checksum we published, and WordPress installs it — you do nothing. On your own WordPress the plugin has no credentials for our service and does not contact us at all, so you update it the way you would any manually installed plugin: download the new zip from this page and upload it. We are building a self-service update channel for that case; until it ships, this page is the place to check.

Can I read the source before installing?

Yes — each plugin links to its public GitHub repository above, where the complete source, the licence and every release are available.

How many plugins are there, and is this all of them?

There are {count} in total and every one has a page here. Six can be downloaded from this site and installed on any WordPress. The seventh, Zinn® Footprint, ships with our Footprint-Free hosting line and is not distributed separately — it still has a page, so you can read exactly what it does before choosing that line.

These plugins run our own hosting

They are not add-ons we sell you. They are how we run more than 650,000 sites, and they come switched on and kept current when you host with us — nothing to install and nothing to update.
