Every deploy is a release, and releases do not break
When you push, we unpack that commit into a directory of its own, install its dependencies and run your build command there. Only when all of that has finished does the new release take over and your app restart. If an install or build fails, the release that was already live keeps serving and the deploy log tells you why. The last five releases stay on the server, so going back is a switch, not a rebuild.
A preview for every branch, beside production
Deploy any branch other than your live one and it is served on its own address, next to your production site and without touching it. Share the link, test it, then merge. Environment variables are written once in your dashboard, stored in a secret store, and handed both to your build and to your running app, so they never need to be in your repository.

Questions people ask before they buy
Which languages and frameworks can I run?
Node.js 24 with any framework that listens on the port it is given, such as Express or Fastify, started from app.js. Python 3.14 through WSGI, such as Django or Flask, from wsgi.py. Ruby 4.0 through Rack, such as Sinatra or Rails, from config.ru. Dependencies come from your package.json, requirements.txt or Gemfile and are installed on every deploy.
Can I run containers, Go, or Kubernetes?
Not on these plans. They run each app in an isolated account on our shared fleet, which has no container runtime. Containers, Go and Rust binaries and Kubernetes belong on a Zinn® Private Cloud server, where you have root and can run anything.
What about FastAPI and other ASGI apps?
The Python runner speaks WSGI. An ASGI app runs behind an adapter such as a2wsgi, which is a one-line change to your entry file. If you need native ASGI or long-lived WebSockets, a Zinn® Private Cloud server is the better fit.
Where do my API keys and database passwords go?
Into the environment variables panel for the site. Values are stored in a secret store, never shown again after you save them, and handed to both your build and your running app. Saving restarts the app so it picks them up.
How many branch previews can I have?
Two live previews on Dev Start, ten on Dev Pro and fifty on Dev Scale. Redeploying a branch replaces its preview rather than using another one, and you can take a preview down from the Releases card at any time.
Can I attach a database or a cache?
Yes. Zinn® Managed Databases give you PostgreSQL or MySQL with backups, reachable only from addresses you allow, and every site can use a Redis cache fenced to that site alone. Put the connection details in your environment variables.
