Video streaming on your own Gcore account

Run your own video streaming by connecting your Gcore account

Connect the Gcore account you already hold and see your live streams and stored videos in the dashboard, under Integrations → Your own services. The streaming runs on your Gcore account, under your contract with Gcore, and Gcore bills you for it directly.

What it is

A connection, not a resale. You bring an API key from your own Gcore account with the streaming product enabled, and the dashboard lists the live streams and stored videos that account holds, under Integrations → Your own services.

We do not sell, price or provide Gcore streaming. Gcore's terms do not allow it to be resold, and we would rather say so plainly than wrap it in a markup: the account, the contract and the bill stay between you and Gcore.

What you get

Your streaming account, visible from the same place you run your sites.

Your live streams, listed

Every live stream on the connected account appears in the dashboard, so you can see what exists without switching to another control panel.

Your stored videos, listed

Videos uploaded to the account are listed beside the live streams, on the same screen.

Checked before it is saved

The key is tested against Gcore before anything is stored. A key that cannot read your streaming account is refused with the reason, rather than saved and failing later.

Stored encrypted

A key that passes is kept encrypted in our secrets vault, never in a database column or a log line.

Disconnect removes the key

Disconnecting deletes the stored key. Your streams and videos stay exactly where they are, on your Gcore account.

Step-by-step guides

Each guide shows where to create the key on the provider's side, what it needs, and how to connect it in the dashboard.

How it works

Three steps, and none of them moves your video anywhere.

  1. Enable streaming with Gcore

Streaming must be switched on for your own Gcore account. If it is not, Gcore has to enable it before the connection can see anything.

  2. Connect an API key

Create an API key in your Gcore account and paste it into Integrations in the dashboard. We test it before saving it.

  3. Open Your own services

Your live streams and stored videos appear under Integrations → Your own services.

Pricing

There is no Zinn Digital® price for streaming, because we do not sell it.

We charge nothing for the connection. Gcore bills you directly, on your own account and at Gcore's own prices, for the streaming you use. Your Zinn Digital® hosting plan is billed as normal.

Streaming prices, limits and availability are set by Gcore. Check them in your Gcore account — we cannot change them and we never add to them.

Why it is built this way

Some services cannot honestly be resold. Gcore's agreement does not permit its streaming to be resold, so the only straight way to offer it is to let you connect the account you hold with them.

Your contract, your usage and your streaming invoice all stay with Gcore, where they belong — and you can see your streams without opening another control panel.

Questions people ask before they buy

Do you sell Gcore video streaming?

No. Gcore streaming is available here only by connecting your own Gcore account. We do not resell, price or provide it — Gcore's terms do not allow resale — so the account, the contract and the bill are between you and Gcore.

Who bills me for streaming?

Gcore does, directly, on your own account. We charge nothing for the connection itself, and your Zinn Digital® hosting plan is billed as normal.

What if streaming is not enabled on my Gcore account?

The connection cannot see streams on an account where the product is switched off. Ask Gcore to enable streaming on your account first, then connect the key.

How is my API key kept?

It is tested against Gcore before it is saved, and a key that passes is stored encrypted in our secrets vault. Disconnecting the account deletes the stored key.

What happens to my videos if I disconnect?

Nothing. They live on your Gcore account and stay there. Disconnecting only removes the key we held and the listing in the dashboard.

Connect your Gcore account

Create an account, open Integrations and paste in a key from your Gcore account. Your streams and videos appear under Your own services.
