One dedicated address replaces both, and it does not change when somebody moves house or opens a laptop in an airport.

Agencies and in-house teams managing dozens of sites usually hit the same wall: locking SSH down to known addresses is the right control, but nobody's home address stays still. A dedicated static address makes the right control practical, and it removes the temptation to leave administrative ports open to everyone.
We do not sell this as a way to browse the internet from somewhere else, because running open internet exits would put the reputation of our address space at risk — and our customers' sites depend on that reputation. Keeping the network scoped to your own estate protects every customer on the platform, including you.
No, and we would rather say so plainly than sell you the wrong product. This is not a general internet exit; it reaches the infrastructure you manage. If you want a consumer privacy or streaming VPN, buy one of those instead.
Because open internet exits attract abuse, and abuse damages the reputation of the address space our customers' sites are served from. Restricting the network to your own estate is a deliberate design choice that keeps that reputation clean for everyone, including the sites you run.
