How Nextcloud and ownCloud hosting works
Your own Nextcloud or ownCloud on our servers: NVMe or object-storage plans, a user limit per plan, a warning at 90% and paused uploads (never deleted files) when an object plan is full.

Create a website on a Nextcloud plan and we install the current Nextcloud or ownCloud release for you, on our own servers. Share files, calendars and contacts with your team under your own domain, with no per-user licence fee and a user limit you can see on every plan.
Choose the data centre your site lives in: Helsinki, Finland (European Union),
Singapore,
Ashburn, eastern United States, and
Hillsboro, western United States.
Nextcloud is an open-source file cloud: a place to store, sync and share files, with calendars, contacts and a web interface your team can use from any browser, plus desktop and phone apps. ownCloud is the project Nextcloud grew from and works the same way for files. Both are full applications with their own database, which is why they need hosting set up for them.
A hosted Nextcloud keeps your files under your own domain instead of in a consumer cloud account, with no per-user licence fee. You decide who has an account, what is shared and for how long, and you can move it somewhere else at any time because it is open source.
Six plans in two kinds. NVMe plans keep your files on the server's fast disk. Object-storage plans keep the application on the server and your files in object storage with a second copy, for a lower price per gigabyte. Monthly or yearly, with any yearly saving shown on each plan.
Priced on your configuration
Cost depends on the region, machine size, bandwidth and storage you choose, so there is no single monthly figure we could honestly print here. Tell us the workload and we will quote it.
Every plan comes with it. There is no support tier to buy, no per-incident charge and no ticket allowance — and the desk is open 24 hours a day.
Support is part of hosting, not an upsell. It is the same support on the smallest plan as on the largest, and nothing about it is counted or capped per incident.
Whatever hour you are working and whatever time zone you are in, the desk is staffed. You are not writing into an inbox that opens in the morning.
Write your ticket in the language you actually think in — we translate it for our team and answer you in yours, with the original always one click away. We sell in all 58.
Our assistant answers instantly from the knowledge base, but it never closes a ticket for you. A ticket is picked up and answered by somebody who can act on it.
Our servers run on renewable electricity in every location we host — Europe, the United States and Singapore alike — sourced that way, not offset after the fact.
The pages people usually read after this one — the platform underneath, the rest of the range, and the help you get once you are here.
Yes. When you create the website on a Nextcloud plan, choose Nextcloud or ownCloud and we install the current release for you. You sign in as the administrator and add your users.
NVMe plans keep your files on the server's fast disk next to the application. Object-storage plans keep the application on the server and your files in object storage with a second copy in a separate backup store, which costs less per gigabyte for large libraries.
On an object-storage plan, we warn you by e-mail and on your dashboard at 90%. At 100%, new uploads pause, but you can still open, download, share and delete your files. Delete files you no longer need or move to a bigger plan, and uploads start again on their own. We never delete your files because a plan is full.
Each plan shows its number of users. The limit is enforced inside Nextcloud: when every user is in use, add another by removing one or moving to a bigger plan.
Yes. Your Nextcloud or ownCloud works with their official desktop and phone apps, which sync to your own domain.
Deleting the website removes it and, on an object-storage plan, removes its files from our object storage too. Download anything you want to keep first.
