Accounting
Built to fit the books you already keep
Your bookkeeper should not have to retype anything. Every invoice, credit note, payment and gateway fee we record can be downloaded in the shape Xero and QuickBooks import, for whatever period you ask for.
What you can export
Pick a date range and download it. Nothing is capped behind a bigger plan, and there is no extra charge for your own billing data.
- Sales invoices, with the customer, the date, the line description and the amount
- Credit notes as credit notes — not as negative invoices, which post to the wrong place
- Gateway fees, so what you actually received reconciles against what you were charged
- A complete period file with every document and every payment, for reconciling by hand
- Tax treatment carried on every line, ready for the day VAT registration applies
- Multi-currency throughout, with the exchange rate captured on the document itself
What this is, and what it is not
This is an export, not a live connection. We never link to your accounting account, we are never given access to it, and nothing is sent anywhere on its own — you download a file and import it yourself, when you choose. That is deliberate. A live sync writes into the ledger your accounts are filed from, where a mistake is corrected with a journal entry rather than a bug fix. We would rather hand your bookkeeper a file they can look at first.
Who this matters to
If you resell hosting, run an agency, or simply hand a folder to an accountant once a quarter, the question is always the same: will this fit my books? It will. And if your accountant wants something we do not produce yet, tell us — the format is ours to change, not a vendor's.
Questions people ask before they buy
Do you integrate with Xero?
Not in the sense of a live connection, and we say so plainly. We produce files shaped for Xero's own imports, which your bookkeeper brings in themselves. We never connect to your Xero account and never see it.
Does it work with QuickBooks?
Yes. The same exports import into QuickBooks by mapping the columns during import, and the complete period file works with any package that accepts a CSV.
Are gateway fees included?
Yes, as a separate file, because a card or PayPal fee is an expense rather than part of a sale. Without it the money arriving in your bank never quite matches your invoices, which is the single most common reason a set of books will not balance.
What happens when you become VAT registered?
The tax rate on every exported line is a setting, not something baked into the software, so it changes on the day registration applies without waiting for a release. Every invoice already carries its own tax treatment.
Can I export more than one currency?
Yes. Amounts export in the currency the customer was charged, and each document keeps the exchange rate that applied when it was issued — so a closed period reports the same figures however rates move afterwards.
How far back can I export?
Any period you ask for. Invoices are never edited or deleted once issued, so a range you exported last year returns the same documents today.
