Domain prices

Registries charge us a different wholesale price for a first registration than for a renewal, and on some extensions an introductory rate applies only to the first year. We show both prices on the same line so the price you pay every year after the first is never a surprise.

Yes. Every figure is the price for one year. Most extensions can be registered for one to ten years at a time; the registry terms column shows the range for each one.

Moving a domain to us from another registrar. For most extensions an inbound transfer also adds a year to the registration, so the transfer price buys both the move and a year. Where a registry does not work that way — .co.uk is the common example — the registry terms column says so.

WHOIS privacy is offered on every extension whose registry permits it, and its price is shown in your basket before you pay. A few registries publish registrant details by policy and cannot offer it at all; those extensions are marked in the registry terms column.

Yes. Prices are held in US dollars and converted for display using our stored exchange rates; the currency switcher in the header changes what you see. The amount you are charged is the converted price, exclusive of any tax that applies in your country.

Yes. Search for a name, add it to your basket and check out — we create your account at the end. Domains you register with us are managed alongside DNS, email and hosting if you later add them.
