Why a care plan exists at all
A WordPress site is not a thing you build once. Core ships security releases, plugins ship breaking changes, a backup nobody has ever restored is not a backup, and the first time most owners hear about any of it is when a customer emails to say the site is down. The maintenance industry grew up around exactly that gap, and it is a real gap.
Our objection is not to the work. It is to the invoice. Every item on a typical care plan is something the platform hosting the site is already closest to — it knows when core shipped, it holds the backups, it runs the scanner, it is the first to notice the site is not answering. Charging a second monthly fee for the platform to use what it already has is a packaging decision, not a cost.
So we made the opposite packaging decision. There is no WP Care plan to buy, there is no tier that unlocks it, and there is no page where you top it up. It is in the hosting.

The $59 figure is the entry price we observed across the WordPress maintenance market in September 2026, not a quotation from any one supplier — prices move and this page does not track them. “Partial” means it depends on the plan or the supplier: staging is on some of our plans and not others, and each plan page says which. One row deserves its own sentence rather than a footnote: uptime checks are added BY YOU, per address — three free with any account, including addresses we do not host — and are not switched on automatically for every site you have with us. Core Web Vitals, bandwidth and resource use are measured automatically on the sites we host. Nothing else in the first column is a promise this platform does not already keep.
What each of those actually means here
WordPress without wp-admin
Plugins, themes, users, updates and integrity checks from your Zinn® dashboard. You never have to hold a wp-admin password for a site you own to keep it patched.
Backups you can prove
Daily, off-site, and restorable by you from the dashboard. A restore you have to open a ticket for is a restore you find out about during an incident.
Malware scanning
Every site on our fleet is scanned, and a site we cannot scan reports why rather than quietly reporting nothing.
Vitals, resources and uptime
Core Web Vitals, bandwidth and resource use against your plan are measured automatically on every site we host. Uptime is a check you add per address — three free with any account, and they can watch addresses we do not host — because we watch what you ask us to watch rather than guessing at your list.
Request profiling
Function-level PHP profiling on every plan — the thing you actually need when a page is slow and the plugin list is long.
SSL that renews itself
Free certificates, issued and renewed by the platform. An expired certificate is the commonest self-inflicted outage there is.
Somebody to ask
Support is included and is not metered per incident. There is also a pre-sales assistant on this site that answers from our knowledge base and live price list before you buy.
No downtime
Moving an existing site over is the part we do for you
The reason people stay on a care plan they resent is that moving sounds worse than paying. It is not: migration on to our platform is free and automated, it is verified rather than assumed, and it happens before anything is pointed at us — so you look at the site running here, and only then change a nameserver.
If it goes wrong, nothing has changed for your visitors, because nothing was pointing at us yet.

Questions people ask before they move
Is this a plan I have to buy?
No. There is nothing on this page to add to a basket. Every item listed comes with hosting, and the plan pages say which of them apply to which plan.
What is the catch?
That you host with us. That is the whole of it — the list above is what the platform already does for a site it is hosting, and we have decided not to invoice for it separately. If you host elsewhere, none of it applies to you.
Do you update plugins automatically too?
Core security and minor releases are automatic on our own fleet. Plugins and themes are managed from your dashboard rather than blindly auto-updated, because a plugin update is the commonest cause of a broken site and the decision should be yours. Our AI Update Guard exists for exactly that call and will tell you what is likely to break before you press the button.
What if I want a human to do the updates for me?
That is a service rather than a feature, and it is bought as one — see our expert services. The distinction is deliberate: software that runs for you is included, and an engineer's time is not.
Is uptime monitoring included?
Three uptime checks are free with any account and you choose which addresses they watch — including addresses we do not host. It is deliberately not switched on automatically for every site you have with us: we watch what you ask us to watch, and a site you have not added is not being measured. More checks are $9 a month per ten. What IS automatic on the sites we host is Core Web Vitals, bandwidth and resource monitoring, in the dashboard, with alerts.
Where do I see the uptime guarantee?
On the SLA page. We engineer to a 99.99% uptime target and commit contractually to 99.9% with credits — the agreement is what counts if the two ever disagree.
