What Zinn® Reseller Toolkit does

If you resell Zinn® hosting, this plugin connects your own WordPress site to your reseller account so your customers never have to leave it. It has three parts and they are separate switches: a domain search, a one-click panel link, and WooCommerce provisioning. Whatever you switch off loads no code, registers no hook and enqueues no stylesheet.

Why it matters

A reseller's problem is not the hosting, it is the seam. Customers bounce when a domain search sends them to somebody else's site, when signing into their panel means a second password, and when a paid order has to be provisioned by hand on a Monday morning. Each of those is a place your brand stops and ours starts. This plugin closes all three on your own domain, with your own prices, through your own payment gateway.

What is in it

Domain search with no JavaScript at all

Drop [zinn_domain_search] on a page. A visitor types a name and results come back live from your domain account with your prices on them. It is a plain form: it works with scripting off, it is crawlable, and it produces a shareable result URL.

Three honest answers, not two

Available, already registered, and we could not check. That third answer matters: when no registrar can be reached, telling a visitor a name is taken makes them abandon a name that may well be free. Results cache for five minutes so a busy page does not hammer the registry.

One-click panel sign-in

[zinn_panel_link] renders a link that takes a signed-in customer straight into their hosting panel, already authenticated. The link is minted when it is clicked, not when the page is rendered, so it never sits in a page cache and never reaches a crawler. It is single-use and expires within minutes.

WooCommerce provisioning on a paid order

Sell hosting as an ordinary WooCommerce product, take the money through your own gateway into your own account, and hosting is set up the moment the order is paid. Set the product line on the product's Inventory tab, or one default for the whole shop.

Idempotent, and it tells you when it fails

A returning customer's second order lands under the same client account, not a second one. Every call is idempotent, so a gateway retry or an order moved from Processing to Completed cannot provision twice. If provisioning fails the reason is written to the order as a note and shown on the order screen — never only to a PHP log where nobody would find it.

What it looks like

The three modules are separate switches. The panel address is where your clients are sent, so with a brand hostname set they never see ours.

What Zinn® Reseller Toolkit needs

WordPress 6.6 or later and PHP 8.2 or later, and a Zinn Digital® reseller account. WooCommerce is needed only for the provisioning part; the domain search and the panel link work without it.

How you get Zinn® Reseller Toolkit

Download it here and install it on your own WordPress site, then pair it with your reseller account. Turn on only the parts you are using.

Installing it

WordPress installs a plugin from a zip file without you unpacking anything. The whole thing takes about a minute, and you need an administrator account on the site.

  1. Download the zip

Use the download button above. Keep the file as it is — do not unzip it, because WordPress expects the archive itself.

  2. Open Plugins → Add New Plugin in wp-admin

Sign in to your site's wp-admin, open Plugins in the left-hand menu, then Add New Plugin at the top of the page.

  3. Upload and install

Choose Upload Plugin, select the zip you just downloaded, then Install Now. WordPress unpacks it for you.

  4. Activate it

Choose Activate Plugin when the upload finishes. The plugin's own settings then appear in wp-admin — nothing else is required to start using it.

Checking the file is ours

This is code that will run on your site, so you should be able to prove the file you downloaded is the file we published. Run the command for your computer against the zip and compare the result with the checksum below — they must match exactly, character for character.

SHA-256

shasum -a 256 zinn-reseller-1.1.2.zip
On Windows
certutil -hashfile zinn-reseller-1.1.2.zip SHA256

The download itself also returns the same value in an X-Zinn-Package-SHA256 header, so an automated deployment can check it without reading this page.

Changelog

1.0.0 — first release: the domain-search shortcode, the single-use panel sign-in link, WooCommerce provisioning with idempotent order handling, and failure reasons surfaced on the order screen.

Updates

On a site we host, these plugins are configured to update themselves: they check with us and WordPress installs the new version for you, with the download verified against its published checksum first. On a WordPress we do not host, there is nothing to configure and nothing phones home — come back to this page when you want the newest version, or watch the plugin's GitHub releases.
