The Zinn® Reseller Toolkit plugin

Sell Zinn® hosting from your own WordPress site: domain search, one-click client sign-in and WooCommerce provisioning.

The Reseller Toolkit puts three things on your own WordPress site so you can sell hosting under your own brand without building anything.

You need a Zinn® reseller account and an API key first — see How to become a reseller for that part.

Installing

It is in the WordPress.org plugin directory: in your WordPress admin go to Plugins → Add New Plugin, search for Zinn® Reseller Toolkit, then Install Now and Activate. The listing is at https://wordpress.org/plugins/zinn-reseller/.

Connecting

In WordPress, open Zinn Digital® → Reseller Toolkit, paste your API key on the Account tab and save. The status panel at the top of that screen says whether a key is set and which modules are switched on. It reads your settings; it does not call the platform, so a key that has been revoked still shows as set until an action that uses it fails and says so.

Domain search works before you add a key, against the public catalogue and its prices. The panel link and WooCommerce provisioning need the key.

Give the key only the permissions the modules you switch on actually need. A key with more access than it uses is the thing that hurts if your WordPress site is ever compromised.

The three modules, each switched on separately

Domain search — a [zinn_domain_search] shortcode you can drop on any page. Visitors check availability and buy through you.

Client sign-in — a [zinn_panel_link] shortcode that takes an existing client straight into their control panel without a second password.

WooCommerce provisioning — when a customer pays a WooCommerce order for one of your hosting products, the hosting is set up automatically. Name the Zinn® product line on the product's Inventory tab so the toolkit knows the product is hosting; an order for anything else is left alone.

Turn on only what you use. A module that is switched off loads no code and no stylesheet; the domain search, when it is on, loads its small stylesheet only on the pages that carry the shortcode.

WooCommerce, specifically

The module only attaches when WooCommerce is actually active, so deactivating WooCommerce will not take your site down. Test one order end to end with a real product before you advertise it — a provisioning failure after a customer has paid is the worst place to find a wrong plan code.

If provisioning does not fire

Open the order: the Zinn® hosting panel on the order screen, and a note on the order, say why it did not happen. Then check, in this order: the order reached Processing or Completed (a paid order); the product names a Zinn® product line; the order item carries the customer's domain name; and the API key has the sites.create and org.read permissions.
