Package the WordPress site you are leaving — files and database — into one archive, and hand us a single link.
What Zinn® Migrate does
You probably do not need this plugin, and its own screen says so first. If your old host gives you FTP, SSH, cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin, put those details into the migration form on Zinn® instead: we connect to your host directly, copy the site across, and install nothing on your server at all. That is faster, it leaves no trace behind, and it is what nearly every migration uses. This plugin is for the sites that cannot do that — the hosts that hand you a WordPress login and nothing else: no FTP account, no shell, a control panel with its API switched off, or every port firewalled. If our checker tells you it could not reach your host on any of the usual ways in, this is the way through.
Why it matters
It is built for slow, small, locked-down hosting, because that is the only kind of hosting that needs it. The servers this plugin runs on have a thirty-second execution limit, 128 MB of memory, exec disabled and no mysqldump — so nothing here depends on one long request. Every step is bounded and resumable, the database is read through WordPress itself rather than a command-line tool, and rows are streamed to disk instead of being held in memory. It also checks how much free disk space there is before it writes anything, and says so plainly when the server will not tell it: a server that runs out of space part way through an export does not fail politely, it takes the site down.
What is in it
Bounded, resumable steps
The package is built a few hundred files at a time, and the archive is closed and reopened between steps. A host that cuts requests off at thirty seconds cannot leave you with a truncated zip that opens, lists half your site and looks finished.
Your database, without mysqldump
The export is written by WordPress itself, table by table in bounded windows, straight to disk. That is slower than a command-line dump and it is the only method that runs at all on the hosts this plugin exists for.
It checks for room before it writes
A package needs roughly as much free disk as your site takes up. The screen works that out first — and when the server refuses to say how much is free, it tells you that rather than guessing you have room.
The link is a password, and it expires
The package sits in a folder with thirty-two random characters in its name that cannot be listed. Anyone holding the link can download your whole site, so it deletes itself twenty-four hours after it was built, and there is a button to remove it the moment your migration is done.
It opens no door on your site
Nothing here registers an endpoint or accepts an inbound request. We cannot ring your site — you press a button and carry the link to us. The archive is your entire site and its database, which is exactly the thing that must never be available to ask for.

What Zinn® Migrate needs
WordPress 6.6 or later and PHP 8.2 or later, on a site that still loads. PHP's ZipArchive extension, which the plugin checks for and names if it is missing. Enough free disk space for a copy of the site. No Zinn Digital® account is needed to build the package — only to migrate it.
How you get Zinn® Migrate
Install and activate it on the site you are moving away from, open Tools → Move to Zinn®, check the disk-space line and press Build the package. Copy the link it gives you into your Zinn® migration, choosing “An archive of an existing site” as the source. Delete the package when the migration has finished, then remove the plugin.

Installing it
WordPress installs a plugin from a zip file without you unpacking anything. The whole thing takes about a minute, and you need an administrator account on the site.
Download the zip
Use the download button above. Keep the file as it is — do not unzip it, because WordPress expects the archive itself.
Open Plugins → Add New Plugin in wp-admin
Sign in to your site's wp-admin, open Plugins in the left-hand menu, then Add New Plugin at the top of the page.
Upload and install
Choose Upload Plugin, select the zip you just downloaded, then Install Now. WordPress unpacks it for you.
Activate it
Choose Activate Plugin when the upload finishes. The plugin's own settings then appear in wp-admin — nothing else is required to start using it.
Checking the file is ours
This is code that will run on your site, so you should be able to prove the file you downloaded is the file we published. Run the command for your computer against the zip and compare the result with the checksum below — they must match exactly, character for character.
