What Zinn® Connector does
If you write your articles in Zinn Digital® and the WordPress site is hosted somewhere else, this plugin is how the two are introduced. You paste a pairing code from your dashboard, and the plugin creates a WordPress application password for itself and hands it to Zinn Digital®. You never see the credential.
Why it matters
The usual way to connect a publishing tool to WordPress is to generate an application password, copy it, and paste it into the other system. That credential then exists in your clipboard, your password manager, possibly a support ticket, and whatever window you pasted it into by mistake. Here it is created and handed over by the plugin itself, so it is never on screen and never in your hands to leak.
What is in it
One pairing code, no credential to copy
Paste a short code from your Zinn Digital® dashboard and press Connect. The plugin creates its own application password, scoped to itself, and delivers it directly. Nothing sensitive is ever displayed.
It changes nothing about your site
No new endpoint, no shortcode, nothing added to your public pages, no post type and no database of its own. Deactivate it and your site is exactly what it was.
Exactly one outbound request
The plugin calls out once, when an administrator presses Connect. It does not poll, does not phone home and does not run on the front end, so it costs your visitors nothing.
Revocable from either end
The application password appears in your WordPress user profile like any other and can be deleted there; it can equally be revoked from your Zinn Digital® dashboard. Neither side can lock the other out.
A dashboard panel that tells you where you stand
wp-admin shows whether the site is paired, and links straight to the Zinn Digital® services acting on it — so the answer to whether publishing is connected is on the screen rather than inferred from whether a post arrived.
What it looks like
One field. The instructions name the exact place in your dashboard to get the code, and the credential is created behind this screen rather than shown to you.

What Zinn® Connector needs
WordPress 6.6 or later and PHP 8.2 or later, with WordPress application passwords enabled — they are, by default, on any site served over HTTPS. Outbound HTTPS from your web server, and a Zinn Digital® account.
How you get Zinn® Connector
Download it here and install it on the WordPress you want to publish to, then pair it from your Zinn Digital® dashboard. Sites we host are already connected and do not need it.

Installing it
WordPress installs a plugin from a zip file without you unpacking anything. The whole thing takes about a minute, and you need an administrator account on the site.
Download the zip
Use the download button above. Keep the file as it is — do not unzip it, because WordPress expects the archive itself.
Open Plugins → Add New Plugin in wp-admin
Sign in to your site's wp-admin, open Plugins in the left-hand menu, then Add New Plugin at the top of the page.
Upload and install
Choose Upload Plugin, select the zip you just downloaded, then Install Now. WordPress unpacks it for you.
Activate it
Choose Activate Plugin when the upload finishes. The plugin's own settings then appear in wp-admin — nothing else is required to start using it.
Checking the file is ours
This is code that will run on your site, so you should be able to prove the file you downloaded is the file we published. Run the command for your computer against the zip and compare the result with the checksum below — they must match exactly, character for character.
