Is a Shopify to WooCommerce migration safe for my SEO?
Yes, if the redirects are done. Your Shopify URLs change when you move to WooCommerce, and a page whose address changes with no redirect looks to Google like a page that was deleted. We map every one of them and serve a 301, which tells search engines the page moved and carries its ranking with it. Our system refuses to mark the job finished until that map exists.
Will my Shopify shop go down during the move?
No. Your Shopify store keeps trading while we build the WooCommerce one beside it. The only change your customers see is at the DNS switch, which takes minutes and happens when you say so.
What does a Shopify to WooCommerce migration cost?
A fixed price based on the size of your catalogue, shown before you order — three packages covering a small shop, a working shop and a large or unusual one. Agencies typically charge thousands for the same job and want a paid discovery phase first; we do not.
Do my Shopify customers have to reset their passwords?
Only if Shopify will not release the password hashes. Where it does, accounts move across and nobody notices. Where it does not, we set up a reset flow and tell you before you pay so you can warn your customers.
Can you move my Shopify apps and plugins?
The apps themselves, no — they are built for Shopify and do not exist on WooCommerce. We will tell you which WooCommerce extension does the same job for each one that matters to you, and set it up as part of the move.
What happens to my Shopify store afterwards?
That is your call. Most people keep the Shopify subscription running for a month after the switch, as a safety net and a reference, then cancel it. We do not touch it either way — closing your old account is a decision with billing consequences and it is yours to make.
