A backup every hour
Files and database together, taken automatically every hour once you turn it on. Each one is labelled Hourly in the website’s backup list.
Add-on
Every website we host is backed up every night. For a website that changes during the day, such as a shop taking orders, add hourly backups and go back to any hour of the last two days.
Your plan already backs up every website we host once a night and keeps those backups for as long as the plan says. If something goes wrong in the afternoon, the newest copy can be many hours old.
Hourly backups add a backup of the website’s files and database every hour, for one website at a time. The last 48 hours are kept, so you can go back to any hour of the last two days. Your nightly backups are not changed.
Hourly restore points beside the nightly ones, in the same backup list.

Hourly backups are kept for 48 hours and then removed on their own. They never take the place of a nightly backup.
Press Restore beside the hour you want. We back up the website as it is first, so a restore can be undone.
Stop renewing at any time. Hourly backups carry on to the end of the month you paid for, and nothing already backed up is removed early.
In your dashboard, choose the website and open its Backups page.
Press Turn on hourly backups and pay in the same window.
The first hourly backup runs within the hour, and one more every hour after that.
A monthly charge per website, on the same invoice as your hosting.
$1.50/month
Nightly backups stay included in your plan. Add-ons are bought per site from your dashboard and appear on your normal invoice — no separate account, no second bill and no minimum term. Prices exclude tax, which is worked out from your billing country at checkout.
Yes. Nightly backups carry on exactly as your plan says. Hourly backups are added on top and never replace a nightly one.
To any hourly backup from the last 48 hours, and to any nightly backup your plan keeps.
Hourly backups pause while a payment is overdue and start again on their own once it is paid. Nothing already backed up is deleted early.
