Zinn® SEO: Speed and footprint

What Zinn® SEO does for speed and footprint, and which of it is free.

What it does

  • Nothing added to your visitors' pages — No script and no stylesheet is added to the pages your visitors load. Only the tags search engines read are printed, and a block that needs styling brings its own small stylesheet only to the pages that use it.
  • No HTML comments or generator tags — Zinn® SEO never announces itself in your page source: no 'optimised by' comments and no generator tag. A test reads a real rendered page on every release.
  • A small, measured head — What Zinn® SEO adds to a page's head is held to a byte budget, with all structured data in a single JSON-LD script, and measured on a real page on every release.
  • No second copy of your posts — SEO data is stored with each post and term and read in one query per page, never in a separate index table that has to be rebuilt and goes out of date on big sites.
  • One small setting loaded per page — All site-wide settings are one small option. Everything else is loaded only when a screen or a job needs it.
  • Scripts only on its own screens — The admin app loads on the Zinn® SEO screen only. Every other admin screen stays exactly as fast as it was.
  • Background work that resumes — Long jobs run in short steps that save their place, so a time limit or a crash never loses progress, and a site with a million posts finishes like one with fifty. No scheduled task exists while there is no work.
  • Modern and older servers — Runs on PHP 7.4 to 8.5 and WordPress 6.4 and newer, tested on the oldest and newest of both.
  • Speed checked on every release — Front-end weight, page comments, settings size and admin scripts are measured on a real WordPress before every release, and a release that grows them fails.
