Zinn® SEO how-to: SEO for online courses (Pro) and SEO for memberships and paid content (Pro)

Step by step in Zinn® SEO: Searchers land on the course page that sells it, not on a lesson they cannot open.

SEO for online courses (Pro)

Searchers land on the course page that sells it, not on a lesson they cannot open.

  1. Open the people tab — Go to SEO, Works with, Sellers, members and forums, and find Courses.
  2. Keep lessons out of search — Tick Keep lessons and quizzes out of search results and press Save changes.
  3. Check the course page — Each course page carries its course details for Google's rich results, from your course plugin.

SEO for memberships and paid content (Pro)

Mark members-only content the way Google asks, so a preview ranks and is never taken for hidden text.

  1. Open the people tab — Go to SEO, Works with, Sellers, members and forums, and find Memberships and paid content.
  2. Tell search engines which content is for members — Tick Tell search engines which content is for members. If your theme puts the members-only part somewhere unusual, give its CSS selector.
  3. Keep account pages out — Tick Keep account, login and checkout pages out of search results and press Save changes.
