Zinn® SEO how-to: Fix SEO conflicts with your theme and plugins and Switch off features you do not use

Step by step in Zinn® SEO: Find a second title, doubled social tags or a stray sitemap file, and fix each with one click that you can undo.

Fix SEO conflicts with your theme and plugins

Find a second title, doubled social tags or a stray sitemap file, and fix each with one click that you can undo.

  1. Open Conflicts — Go to SEO, Clean-up, Conflicts and press Check my pages. Your home page, newest post and a category page are read as visitors see them.
  2. Read what was found — Each problem says which pages show it and what prints the extra tags, such as a second title from an older theme or a sitemap file in your site's main folder.
  3. Fix it with one click — Press Fix it now. Undo puts it back. The same problems appear in the Fix it list on the dashboard.

Switch off features you do not use

Turn whole parts of the plugin off. A part that is off loads no code at all, so your site stays fast.

  1. Open Features — Go to SEO, Settings, Features. Every part of the plugin is listed with what it does. Use Find a feature to search.
  2. Switch a part off — Switch off what you do not use. A part that others need tells you which ones stop with it.
  3. Switch on an extra — Some parts are off until you want them, such as Dublin Core tags for library and archive sites.
