Fill image alt text automatically
Give every image clean file names and alt text, titles and captions from a pattern, in every language of the site.
Open Images — Go to SEO, Clean-up, Images.
Clean file names on upload — Under When an image is uploaded, switch on Give it a clean file name. My Photo FINAL (2).JPG is saved as my-photo-final-2.jpg.
Write the patterns — Choose what fills empty Alt text, Title and Caption, for example %filename% - %post_title%. Text you wrote yourself is never replaced. Each language of the site can have its own pattern.
Fix the whole media library — Under Fix the whole media library, choose what to do, press See what would change, then Change them. A large library is updated in the background.
