Why your listing went back into review after you edited it

Editing a live listing can send it back for a check. That is not a punishment - it is the thing that makes the marketplace worth buying from.

If you change a live listing, it may go back into review before it returns to the storefront. This is expected.

What a review is protecting

A buyer decides to spend money based on what a listing says. If a seller could publish an honest listing, get it approved, and then change the domain or the terms afterwards, the approval would mean nothing - and every listing on the marketplace would be worth less as a result, including yours.

So approval is recorded against the exact content that was approved, not against your account. Change the content materially and it needs looking at again.

What counts as material

Anything a buyer would have wanted to know before paying: the site, the terms, the packages, the photos. Fixing a typo in a sentence is not the same as changing the domain.

What happens to a listing in review

It is off the storefront until the check is done. Existing orders are unaffected - they are against the version that was live when they were placed.

How to avoid the round trip

Get the listing right before you publish it rather than after. You can save a draft as many times as you like and nothing goes anywhere until you publish.

If you are making a small correction to copy and are not sure whether it will trigger a review, it costs nothing to make it - the check is quick, and the alternative is a marketplace where an approval badge means nothing.
