Tranzly: connect an AI agent (MCP)

Let Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client work with Tranzly on your site, and what it may do.

Tranzly makes your WordPress site an MCP server: an AI agent such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can read and change Tranzly's content and settings through it, as you.

Connect an agent

  1. You need WordPress 6.9 or newer (it brings the Abilities API Tranzly builds on).
  2. In Tranzly's settings, Allow AI agents (MCP) is on by default. Switch it off and the
  3. abilities and the endpoint disappear.

  4. In wp-admin open Users → Profile → Application Passwords, create one, and copy it.
  5. Point your MCP client at https://your-site/wp-json/tranzly/v1/mcp with your username and that
  6. application password. On the server you can use WP-CLI instead: wp mcp-adapter serve --server=tranzly --user=<login>.

Every ability checks the WordPress permission it names for the exact page or post, so an agent can never do more than the user it signs in as. Visitors and subscribers are always refused. The same abilities are available over the REST API.
