Which themes and plugins Tranzly is tested with

Tranzly's measured compatibility, including GeoDirectory, UsersWP and GetPaid, and what to do about a plugin that is not on the list.

We do not call a plugin compatible with Tranzly until we have tested the two together on a real WordPress site. The full list, with the version of each theme and plugin we tested, is on tranzly.io → Documentation → Compatibility (https://tranzly.io/docs/compatibility/). It covers 50 popular themes and plugins, plus a section for directory, membership and payment plugins.

GeoDirectory, UsersWP and GetPaid

Tested with Tranzly Pro 3.27.24, GeoDirectory 2.8.193, UsersWP 1.2.77 and GetPaid 2.8.62, on WordPress 7.1.3 in English and German:

  • Every page loads with no PHP error: UsersWP's register, login, account and profile pages,
  • GeoDirectory's listings, search and add-listing pages, and the GetPaid checkout.

  • A GeoDirectory listing is translated with its address, map location and custom fields.
  • Text fields are translated. Choice fields keep their value, so a "language the class is taught in" field stays the same in every language.

  • A listing's categories and tags are translated with it.
  • Editing the original updates every language. Trashing, restoring or deleting the original does
  • the same to its translations.

  • A GeoDirectory search finds the listings in the visitor's language.
  • The field names you add in GeoDirectory and UsersWP, and the payment method names you set in
  • GetPaid, are translated in Tranzly → Theme and plugin text.

  • GetPaid invoices are never translated: they are records of a sale, not content.

Not tested yet: GeoDirectory's paid add-ons (such as Pricing Manager, Events, Advanced Search Filters and Location Manager), and a complete front-end listing submission or payment in a second language.

"Undefined constant PLL_COOKIE" after activating Tranzly Pro

Tranzly Pro 3.27.22 and older stopped the site with this error when UsersWP was active. Update Tranzly Pro to 3.27.23 or later: in WordPress, go to Plugins and click update now under Tranzly Pro (or Dashboard → Updates → Check again if the update is not shown yet).

A plugin that is not on the list

Most plugins work, because every Tranzly translation is a real WordPress post. Try it on a staging copy of your site first, and check that plugin's pages in each language. If anything looks wrong, open a support ticket with what you saw and on which page, and we will test it.
