Show your Amazon sales on an FBA business listing with a Seller Central report

How to download the Date Range transaction report from Seller Central, which languages we read, what buyers see and why the file is never stored.

If you are selling an Amazon FBA business on the marketplace, you can show buyers your real Amazon figures by uploading a report from Seller Central. The card is called Add your Amazon sales from a Seller Central report and sits on your Amazon FBA listing, under the photos.

Download the right report

  1. In Seller Central open Payments, then Reports Repository.
  2. Choose Date Range Reports and the report type Transaction.
  3. Pick the last 12 months and generate the report.
  4. Download the CSV file. Do not open and re-save it in a spreadsheet first: spreadsheets change
  5. dates and amounts, and we refuse a file whose numbers no longer look like Amazon's.

Languages we read

The report can be in English (United States, United Kingdom, Canada or Australia), German, French, Spanish, Italian or Japanese — whatever language your Seller Central uses. Amounts and dates are read exactly as Amazon wrote them for that language; nothing is translated or converted. If your report is in another language, switch Seller Central to one of these languages and download it again.

What buyers see

  • Net proceeds from Amazon: what Amazon credited you after its fees and refunds, over the months
  • the report covers (transfers to your bank are not counted twice).

  • Net proceeds, monthly average.
  • Product sales on Amazon after refunds.
  • Months covered (consecutive months, up to the last 12).

The figures are shown in the currency of the report — pounds for amazon.co.uk, euros for the European stores, yen for amazon.co.jp — and are labelled as taken from your uploaded Amazon report. They are not described as verified by Amazon, because an upload is checked by us, not connected to your Amazon account.

What we check

We refuse a report, and say why, when it covers fewer than 3 months, when a month is missing in the middle, when it has dates in the future, when it mixes Amazon stores with different currencies, when it has no orders, or when an amount or a date has been changed into a format Amazon does not write. The file must be smaller than 25 MB.

Your buyers' data stays private

A transaction report contains your customers' towns and postcodes. We read the file once and never store it. We keep only the totals and a fingerprint of the file, so we can tell if the same report is uploaded again.

Removing the figures

Press Remove the Amazon figures on the same card. Upload a newer report at any time to replace them.
