Page Builder Sandwich animations and interactions

Add entrance and scroll animations, hover effects, sticky blocks, parallax and pointer-follow effects that respect reduced-motion settings.

Page Builder Sandwich Pro adds a Motion section to every block's Style tab. Each setting can differ per breakpoint, like every other style.

Entrance and scroll animations

  • Entrance animation: fade in, fade in rising or dropping, from the start or end side, zoom in
  • or out, or flip up, played once when the block scrolls into view. Set its length and delay in milliseconds.

  • While scrolling: fade, rise, grow or straighten as the block scrolls into view, driven by the
  • scroll position (in browsers that support scroll-driven animation; elsewhere the block simply shows).

Interactions

  • On hover: lift, grow, shrink, shadow, tilt or glow, also on keyboard focus.
  • Stay in view: the block sticks at a distance from the top of the screen while its section
  • scrolls.

  • Parallax speed: from -10 (against the scroll) to 10 (with it).
  • Follow the pointer: the block leans towards the mouse pointer.

Reduced motion, always respected

Visitors who ask their device for reduced motion see no animation, parallax or movement: content is simply shown. Without JavaScript nothing is hidden. A page that uses no motion setting loads no motion code.
