How to connect Google Ads to Zinn® Ads

Connect one or many Google Ads accounts. Every change waits for your approval unless you make it automatic, spend ceilings are enforced, and every change can be undone for 30 days.

Zinn® Ads looks after your own Google Ads accounts. You connect them once; every day we check each account and propose changes, such as blocking search terms that cost money and never convert, or raising the budget of a campaign that sells. Nothing is changed in your Google Ads account until you approve it, unless you choose otherwise.

Connect your Google Ads accounts

  1. Open Zinn® Ads in your dashboard and press Connect Google Ads.
  2. Sign in with the Google account that can reach your Google Ads accounts, and allow access to
  3. Google Ads. While Google is still reviewing our app, Google may first show a screen saying the app is not verified; you can continue from it.

  4. Pick the accounts to add. An agency signing in with a manager account sees the accounts
  5. under it and can add as many as it likes. Each account you add is kept separate, with its own settings, its own changes and its own history. A manager account itself is not added.

Approve first, or automatic

Every kind of change starts as Ask me first. The kinds are: budgets, campaigns, keywords, ads, assets, audiences, conversions. For each account you can set each kind to Ask me first, Automatic or Never.

  • Ask me first: the change waits under Needs you. Press Approve and we make exactly
  • that change in your account; press Reject and nothing happens.

  • Automatic: we make the change and list it under Changes, with an Undo.
  • Never: we do not make that kind of change at all.

Spend ceilings

You can set a daily and a monthly spend ceiling for each account, in the account's own currency. A change that would take the account's daily budgets above the daily ceiling, or a month of them above the monthly ceiling, is refused, even when it was approved or is automatic. Lowering a budget is never stopped.

Undo

Every change we make can be undone for 30 days: press Undo beside it and we put the old value back in your account. A change that removed something from your account cannot be undone.

The kill switch

  • Pause this account stops every change to that one account.
  • Stop all changes (the kill switch) stops every change to all your connected accounts.

Undo keeps working while either is on, so you can always put a change back.

The daily e-mail

Each day there is something to tell you, we e-mail a short summary: how many changes were made and how many need you. Every change has its own Approve or Undo link. The links ask you to sign in first; an Approve link works for 7 days and an Undo link for 30 days. You can turn the e-mail off on the Zinn® Ads screen.

Disconnecting an account

Press Disconnect beside the account. We stop reaching it, forget our access and delete everything we hold about that account. To remove Zinn® Ads from your Google account as well, open myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove it there (we do not do it for you, because Google would also cut every other account you connected with the same Google sign-in). Changes already made in your Google Ads account stay as they are, and your ad spend and billing always stay in your own Google Ads account.

Using Zinn® Ads from an AI assistant

If you connected an AI assistant to your account (MCP), it can list your connected accounts and the changes waiting, approve, reject or undo a change, and pull the kill switch, with the same permissions you gave it. Connecting a new Google Ads account always needs you in a browser.
