Client wallets, invoices and chasing payment

How your clients pay you, what happens when they do not, and what you can set.

Client billing → Client credit balances, and Client billing → Payment chasing.

Wallets

Each client has a balance in their own currency. Their invoices draw from it first and charge their payment method for the rest — the same mechanism as your own wallet, one level down.

You can credit a client's wallet yourself: a goodwill adjustment, a refund you have agreed, or a prepayment they made to you by bank transfer.

Dunning — what happens when a payment fails

A schedule you set: how many retries, how far apart, what the client is told at each step, and what happens at the end. The end is your decision — suspend the sites, or leave them running and keep chasing.

Nothing suspends without the schedule saying so. A client's site going dark because of a card that needed re-approving is a lost client, so the default schedule is deliberately patient.

The emails

Sent from your brand, in the client's language, on your schedule. You can edit the wording; the templates are a starting point rather than a fixture.

What you see

Which clients are overdue, by how much and for how long, on one screen. That is the number worth watching weekly — reselling goes wrong slowly, through unpaid invoices, rather than suddenly.
