How AI content credits work

AI features — writing, rewriting, images, summaries — are paid for with credits rather than being bundled into the plan price, so a customer who does not use them does not pay for them.

What uses a credit

Anything that calls a model on your behalf: generating an article, rewriting a section, producing an image, or an assistant answer that has to read your site's content first.

Reading your existing content and searching the knowledge base are free — you are only charged when something is generated.

Why costs differ

A long article costs more than a paragraph, an image costs more than text, and a stronger model costs more than a fast one. The estimated cost is shown before you confirm, never after.

Where they come from

Credits come with your plan and can be topped up at any time from Billing → AI credits. They do not expire while your subscription is active.

Running out

Generation stops and says so. Nothing is deleted, nothing half-written is lost, and your sites are unaffected — this is a spending limit, not a service interruption.
