Board plans, limits and what is included

Boards is priced per organisation, not per person. There is no per-seat charge and there will not be one — inviting a client should not cost you anything, because inviting clients is the whole point of the product.

The free tier is permanent

One board and five collaborators, on any account, with no plan and no card. It is not a trial and there is no clock on it. It is enough to run one real project and decide whether this works the way you work.

If you host with us, you may already have this

Every Agency hosting plan includes boards, along with API and MCP access:

• Agency Start — 10 boards
• Agency Growth — 50 boards
• Agency Scale — unlimited boards

So check your plan before buying anything. If you are on an Agency plan, boards are included and the only reason to look at the standalone tiers is if you want more boards than your tier carries.

The standalone tiers

Boards Pro adds unlimited boards and unlimited collaborators, plus automations, the AI card drafting and summaries, and the two-way GitHub Projects sync.

Boards Business adds the public API and our MCP server, so a script or an AI assistant can drive your boards, and white-label branding on shared boards.

What counts against a board limit

Live boards. Archived boards do not count. If you hit your limit, archiving a finished project frees a slot without losing anything.

Collaborators are people with a seat on a board. A read-only share link does not use a collaborator slot, however many people open it — that is the whole reason the read-only link exists.

What happens when you hit the limit

Creating a board is refused with a message naming your plan, your limit and what you are using, so you can see whether to archive something or move up a tier. Nothing already on the platform stops working.
