AI Move: we move your site for you

Free on every paid plan, with no limit: our AI moves your site end to end, our migration team oversees it, and nothing switches over until it has been tested.

AI Move is our done-for-you migration. Our AI moves your site for you, end to end, and our migration team oversees every move. It is free and unlimited on every paid plan. On a trial you can move sites yourself with the self-service tools; upgrade to any paid plan and AI Move is included.

Three promises

  1. Our AI does the move for you, end to end: it checks the access you give, lists what is on
  2. your old host, copies the files, databases and (if you want) the email, and sets the site up here.

  3. Every move is tested end to end before the switch-over. We do not switch anything over
  4. until three checks pass: a preview check (your copy here is compared with the old site), an app check (everything arrived and the site answers) and, after the switch, a live check at your own domain.

  5. Real people step in at once if anything goes wrong. Our migration team sees every move;
  6. a step that fails for a reason you cannot fix is handed to a person straight away.

How to ask

  1. Open Migrations and choose AI Move (recommended) — it is also offered when you create
  2. a site and on each site's Restore & import tab.

  3. Fill in the short form: the domain, what runs it now, what to move, and at least one way in
  4. (SSH or SFTP is best, then a control panel login, then FTP). See AI Move: what we need from you.

  5. Tick the consent box and press Start my free AI Move.

We open a support ticket for the move. Everything happens there: what the AI checked, any question it has for you, the preview link, and the switch-over. You can also follow it on the move's own page in Migrations.

What happens next

  • Access check — we sign in with what you gave (SSH first) and say exactly what worked and
  • what did not. If a login is refused, the ticket says which one and how to send a new one.

  • Plan check — disk, databases, mailboxes and sites are checked against your plan before
  • anything is copied. If the site will not fit, the ticket offers the plan that holds it, with the price, and the move waits until you choose.

  • Copy and checks — the site is copied and tested on a temporary address.
  • Switch-over — when the checks pass, reply GO on the ticket (or press **Switch over
  • now (GO)** on the move's page). See AI Move: the switch-over and DNS.

  • Done — once your domain serves the new site, the ticket says so, with what was moved.

Nothing at your current host is changed or deleted. Asking again, for another site, is free as well.
