Authentication

Send an API key as a bearer token. This endpoint does not state a specific permission in the specification, so give your key the least it needs and check the response rather than assuming.

This endpoint takes no organisation id. Your key already identifies the organisation it belongs to, and the response is scoped to it.

Try it

Replace anything in angle brackets with your own values, and the key placeholder with a key from your dashboard.

curl -X PUT https://api.zinndigital.com/v1/visibility/targets/{targetId}/links \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer zdk_live_…" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ }'

Signed in? The API console in your dashboard fills in your real organisation id and your own key, and runs the request against the live API so you can see the actual response. Open this endpoint in the API console

Details

Replaces the watched-link list wholesale. Needs Backlink Monitoring. A non-empty list enrols the domain in link_watch and makes it due at once, so the first reading lands within the hour; an empty list takes it back out. A target_url must be on this domain. Taking the organisation past its links allowance is refused with 422, never truncated. Checks cost nothing — our own fetcher opens each page.

merchant_namesstring[]NoHow this business appears as a seller on the marketplaces. Confirmed by the customer and never inferred: Google Shopping publishes a seller name and no domain on its listings,…
keywordsTrackedKeyword[]NoThe search phrases this organisation tracks its position for. Customer-supplied and never derived: asking a vendor which phrases a domain already ranks for would return exactly…
promptsstring[]NoThe customer's own questions for the AI answer engines. Empty means the default questions built from category and market. Bounded by the prompts allowance.
watched_linksWatchedLink[]NoThe individual links the customer watches pointing at this domain. What each link was found to be is a reading on the latest link_watch audit, not here. Bounded by the links…
mention_phrasesMentionPhraseState[]NoThe phrases this organisation listens for on this domain (brand mentions), each with its own schedule as the checks actually left it.
