Authentication

Send an API key as a bearer token. This endpoint does not state a specific permission in the specification, so give your key the least it needs and check the response rather than assuming.

This endpoint takes no organisation id. Your key already identifies the organisation it belongs to, and the response is scoped to it.

Try it

Replace anything in angle brackets with your own values, and the key placeholder with a key from your dashboard.

curl -X POST https://api.zinndigital.com/v1/content/posts/generate \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer zdk_live_…" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "brief": <string> }'

Signed in? The API console in your dashboard fills in your real organisation id and your own key, and runs the request against the live API so you can see the actual response. Open this endpoint in the API console

Details

Turns a brief into DRAFT posts in the organisation's own content library, with the customer's anchors placed inside them. ⛔ It never schedules and never publishes — the drafts sit in the library until somebody reads them and creates a placement, which is the same line the hand-written path already draws. Gated on `links.edit`, the same key as writing a post by hand, because that is what this is. Every call is metered on the caller's own organisation — BYO key, then credits, then the included allowance — and is refused with a sentence naming what would clear it if none of the three can pay. ⛔ Anchors are placed VERBATIM and verified after generation. Any the model altered or dropped are named in the draft's `notes`, which the customer reads before scheduling — the platform never silently re-prompts (it would spend their money again) and never silently accepts (it would place a campaign they did not ask for).

Request body

NameTypeRequiredWhat it is
briefstringYesWhat the article should be about, in the language you want it written in. A tighter brief produces better articles than a longer one.
countintegerNoHow many articles to write. ⛔ Capped at 10: more than that from one brief produces near-identical copy across a network, which is the footprint the Footprint-Free line exists to…
anchorsobject[]NoThe links to place, each exactly once per article, using the given text verbatim. More than five in one article is a spam signal.
