DELETE `/v1/sites/{siteId}/databases/{databaseId}`

Delete an extra database from a site — backed up first.

Authentication

Send an API key as a bearer token. The key must carry the sites.view permission; a key without it is refused with 403, not 404.

This endpoint takes no organisation id. Your key already identifies the organisation it belongs to, and the response is scoped to it.

Details

Takes a full dump of the database, checks the dump is there and not empty, and only then drops the database and its user. If the dump fails nothing is dropped. The dump is kept on the server for 30 days, and support can restore it on request. The site's own database is refused 422: deleting it would take the website down. Requires sites.view and sites.panel_access.
