Authentication
Send an API key as a bearer token. The key must carry the sites.view permission; a key without it is refused with 403, not 404.
This endpoint takes no organisation id. Your key already identifies the organisation it belongs to, and the response is scoped to it.
Try it
Replace anything in angle brackets with your own values, and the key placeholder with a key from your dashboard.
curl -X POST https://api.zinndigital.com/v1/domains/transfer/preflight \
-H "Authorization: Bearer zdk_live_…" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{ "domains": <string[]> }'Signed in? The API console in your dashboard fills in your real organisation id and your own key, and runs the request against the live API so you can see the actual response. Open this endpoint in the API console
Details
Takes a list of domain names and answers, per name, whether it can be transferred to us and what that costs — the check half of the bulk transfer-in wizard (`docs/31` §5.3(e)). A `POST` because the list would not survive a query string at this size, not because it changes anything: it is idempotent and writes nothing. Bounded to 50 names per request, so one paste cannot fan an unbounded burst at the registrar; a longer list is a `422` asking the customer to split it rather than a silent truncation. Every price resolves through the TLD catalogue — a client never invents one. Requires `sites.view`.
