More CPU
A higher share of processor time, so heavy pages and busy moments queue less.
Hosting add-on
Lift a single site one, two or three resource tiers above what its plan gives it. More CPU, more memory and more processes for that site, without moving the whole account to a bigger plan.
Every site on our hosting runs inside its own resource limits: how much CPU it may use, how much memory, how much disk I/O, and how many processes and PHP requests it may run at once. Your plan decides which tier of limits a site gets.
Performance Boost raises those limits for one site. Level 1 lifts it one tier, level 2 two tiers and level 3 three tiers, up to the highest tier we run. The rest of your sites, and your plan, stay as they are.
The same limits the plan sets, one or more steps higher.
A higher share of processor time, so heavy pages and busy moments queue less.
A higher memory ceiling for the site, which also raises the ceiling available to PHP.
Higher read and write limits for sites that move a lot of data.
More processes and more PHP requests at the same time, for traffic that arrives together.
There is nothing to configure. The new limits are written to the server for that site, and the site is checked against them from then on.
Buy it for the site that needs it. You can boost different sites by different amounts.
Level 1, 2 or 3, from the site's settings in your dashboard.
The site's resource tier moves up by that many steps on the server.
The boost is billed monthly for as long as the site keeps it.
A monthly charge per site, by level.

A site already on the highest tier cannot go higher. Add-ons are bought per site from your dashboard and appear on your normal invoice — no separate account, no second bill and no minimum term. Prices exclude tax, which is worked out from your billing country at checkout.
No. It applies to the one site you buy it for. Each site that needs more room needs its own boost.
A set of limits for one site: CPU, memory, disk I/O, I/O operations, processes and concurrent PHP requests. Your plan sets the tier, and a boost moves the site up from there.
A boost cannot take a site above the highest tier we run. If a site needs more than that, talk to us about the right setup for it.
No. A plan change affects the whole account. A boost changes one site and leaves everything else where it is.
Open the site in your dashboard and choose the level it needs.
