Sending SMS and WhatsApp messages under your own name

Coming soon: texts from your own sender ID and WhatsApp messages from your own WhatsApp Business account, registered for your business in each country.

Zinn®, our Viking, reading his checklist beside an index of articles with one open.

SMS and WhatsApp in Zinn® Campaigns are coming soon. Today they are open only to accounts in our early-access pilot; email campaigns are open to everyone. When they open, every customer sends under their own business name, never ours: your customers see your name, replies come back to you, and your sending reputation is yours alone.

Coming soon: your own SMS sender ID

Texts will be sent from your own sender ID: your business name where a country allows a name as the sender, or a number registered to your business where it does not. Many countries require the sender to be registered before marketing texts are delivered, and each registration will be made for your business, in your name, one country at a time:

  • United States: your brand and campaign registered with The Campaign Registry (10DLC), with your own US number. See Zinn® Campaigns: plans, add-ons, SMS and WhatsApp.
  • Other countries: the SMS page will list each country you can send to and whether your sender is registered there yet.

Registration fees charged by the networks will be paid from your Zinn® credit balance, and the SMS page will show each fee before you submit.

Coming soon: your own WhatsApp Business account

WhatsApp messages will be sent from your own WhatsApp Business account, connected with Meta's own sign-up (Embedded Signup) from the SMS page of Zinn® Campaigns, using message templates WhatsApp approves for your account. The Zinn Digital® WhatsApp account is used only for our own messages to you, never for messages to your customers.

Consent and opt-outs

Each person must have agreed to texts or WhatsApp separately from email. Anyone who replies STOP is never texted again from your account. Tell people how to stop in every message.
