Host a site on your own Netlify, Cloudflare Pages or Vercel account

Connect a platform account you already pay for, create a site on it, and deploy to it from the same dashboard as the sites you host with us.

Zinn®, our Viking, reading his checklist beside an index of articles with one open.

An external site is a site that runs on a platform account of your own — Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, Vercel, GitHub Pages, GitLab Pages, AWS Amplify, Render or Azure Static Web Apps — but that you manage, build and deploy from the Zinn® dashboard. It runs on your account and your bill, so it uses none of our disk or bandwidth and none of your plan's site slots.

How many you can have

Every hosting plan includes some external sites, on top of its own site slots. Your number is shown in the dashboard next to what you have used. When you need more, add them under Billing → Add-ons in packs of one or five; they are ready as soon as the purchase goes through. The public page lists what each plan includes: external sites.

1. Connect your platform account

Go to Integrations and add the platform. You give us an API token for your account; we check that it works before we save it, store it in a vault and never show it again. You can connect more than one account, and remove one at any time.

2. Create the site on it

Choose Create site. Under Your own hosting account every connected platform is listed; pick one. If a platform is greyed out, the line under it says why: the account is not connected yet (Connect an account), or your external sites are all in use (Get more external site slots).

3. Deploy

Open the site's Deploy tab. For Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, Vercel, GitHub Pages, GitLab Pages and AWS Amplify we build the site and publish it to your account, and every deploy is listed with its live address. Render and Azure Static Web Apps publish from your own git repository: your push is the deploy, and the dashboard shows it.

You can put your own domain on the site from its Domains & DNS section; where we manage the domain's DNS we write the records for you.

Removing one

Deleting the site in the dashboard frees its external-site slot straight away. The project at the platform stays in your account until you delete it there.
