Set up local business SEO

Tell search engines and AI assistants where you are and when you are open, so near-me searches can show you.

  1. Open Local business — Go to SEO, Works with, Local business, and tick This site is for a business people visit or that serves a local area.
  2. Describe the business — Choose the kind of business and fill in the name, phone, email, price range and area served.
  3. Add the address and map position — Fill in the address and, if you like, the latitude and longitude for the map.
  4. Save — Press Save changes. Search engines get your details on every page, with no map script added.

  2. Manage locations — Press Manage locations and add each branch with its address, opening hours and map position.
  3. Add the store finder — Add the store finder block to a page. Visitors find the nearest branch with no map script slowing the page, and search engines get a locations sitemap.
