Zinn® SEO how-to: Undo a move from another SEO plugin and Edit SEO titles and descriptions in bulk

Step by step in Zinn® SEO: Changed your mind? One Undo puts back what was there before the move, and nothing of the old plugin was ever deleted.

Undo a move from another SEO plugin

Changed your mind? One Undo puts back what was there before the move, and nothing of the old plugin was ever deleted.

  1. Open Move from another plugin — Go to SEO, Move from another plugin. The steps you took are listed with what each one did.
  2. Find Undo — Undo the import is at the end of the screen. It removes exactly the values the copy wrote, and values you set yourself afterwards stay.
  3. Switch the old plugin back on — If you had switched the old plugin off, switch it on again on the Plugins screen. Its own data was never changed, so it carries on where it was.

Edit SEO titles and descriptions in bulk

Change SEO fields for many posts in one table, or apply one change to every matching page, with undo.

  1. Open the Bulk editor — Go to SEO, Bulk editor. The Edit in bulk tab lists posts and terms with their SEO title, meta description, search engine setting and canonical address.
  2. Filter to the pages you want — Filter by content type and status, or choose No description of its own to see only pages that still use the template.
  3. Edit in the table — Type straight into a row and save. Each field shows the length search engines display.
  4. Apply one change to every match — To change all matching pages at once, set the change and apply it. It runs in the background, however many pages match.
  5. Undo from the history — The History and undo tab lists every bulk change. Undo restores the earlier values but leaves alone any field edited since.
