What Zinn® Cache does for object cache, and which of it is free.
What it does
Redis object cache that proves it works — Password or Redis 6 ACL sign-in, the usual WP_REDIS settings, and a write-and-read round trip that says why Redis refused instead of caching nothing.
Works with your host's cache — A host can manage the object cache for you. The plugin never overwrites another plugin's drop-in, and refreshes its own after an update.
igbinary or PHP serializer — Store object-cache values with igbinary, smaller and faster when the extension is installed, or with PHP's own format. Every value is read in the format it was written in, so switching is safe at any time.
An in-memory tier in front of Redis(Pro) — The most-read groups (options, posts, terms, users) are kept in APCu on the server, so the hottest reads never leave the machine.
More data in the same memory(Pro) — zstd, lzf or gzip compression, whichever the server has, plus the igbinary serializer, so the same Redis memory holds more of your site.
Prefetching(Pro) — Each page loads the cache keys it needed last time in one request instead of one at a time.
Free or Pro
A feature marked (Pro) needs a Pro licence; (Agency plan) needs the Agency plan. Everything else is in the free edition.
