Page Builder Sandwich: Dynamic data and Accessibility and Developers
What Page Builder Sandwich does for dynamic data and accessibility and developers, and which of it is free.
Dynamic data
Dynamic content everywhere(Pro) — Fill any text, image or link from post fields, author, site info or custom fields, using WordPress's own block bindings.
ACF, Meta Box, Pods, JetEngine and Toolset(Pro) — Read their custom fields, including repeaters, galleries and relationships.
Visual query loop builder(Pro) — Build lists of any content (posts, products, users, terms) with filters and sorting, then design the card once.
Live filters(Pro) — Front-end filter and search for loops (by category, price, custom field) without page reloads.
Accessibility
Accessibility checker — Checks contrast, headings, image alt text, link text and keyboard access as you build, with fixes. Elementor charts for this; we don't.
Accessible by default — Skip links, focus styles, proper labels on tabs/accordions/sliders, and reduced-motion support are built in.
Developers
REST API and WP-CLI — Manage templates, regenerate CSS and run imports from the command line or other apps.
Old developer API still supported — Third-party add-ons written for the old pbsAddInspector/pbs_shortcodes API keep working through a compatibility layer.
Free or Pro
A feature marked (Pro) needs a Pro licence; (Agency plan) needs the Agency plan. Everything else is in the free edition.
