Asking us to migrate a site for you

Free, for any site, with no limit: an engineer moves it by hand, starting within 72 hours.

Self-service is the fastest way to move a site, and it is what most people use. If you would rather hand it over — an awkward host, a shop that must not go offline, mailboxes your host will not release, or simply no time — we do it for you, free, for as many sites as you like.

How to ask

  1. Create the site (or open it), then go to Restore & import.
  2. Under Or have us do it for you — free, tell us where the site is now and anything we
  3. should know (deadlines, a busy shop, an unusual setup).

  4. Press Ask us to migrate it.

⛔ Never put a password in that form. An engineer contacts you through a support ticket to collect access, so we always know who we are talking to.

What happens next

  • The request appears under Your requests for this site with its status: *Awaiting our
  • team, In progress, then Completed*.

  • We start within 72 hours, and the screen shows the time we start by.
  • We copy everything, stand it up on a temporary address for you to check, and change DNS only
  • when you say so. Your old site keeps serving until then.

Asking again — for another site, or the same site a second time — is free as well. There is no limit.
