Which languages your clients see

Narrowing the language list in your clients' panel, and what stays translated regardless.

You get all the languages we serve, free. So do your clients, unless you narrow the list.

Why you might narrow it

If you sell in one country, a language switcher offering fifty-odd options is noise, and a client who picks the wrong one has a bad afternoon. Reseller → Languages lets you choose which appear, and which one a new client account starts in.

What narrowing does and does not do

Does: limits the switcher in your clients' panel, and sets the default for new accounts.

Does not: change what an existing client has already chosen. Somebody using Polish keeps Polish even if you remove it from the list — taking a person's language away is not something a settings change should do silently.

Does not: affect the languages of their sites. A client's own site can be in any language; this is about the control panel.

What stays translated whatever you choose

Emails, invoices, notifications and the knowledge base follow the language each client is set to. Narrowing the list narrows what they can choose, not the quality of what they get once chosen.

⭐ Set the default before you onboard, not after. A client's first email arrives in the default language, and a welcome message in the wrong language is a poor first impression that a later fix does not undo.
