Cancelling, and what happens to your sites
You keep the service to the end of the period you paid for. What is kept afterwards, and for how long.
Billing → Plan → Cancel. Nothing is switched off at the moment you click it.
Until the end of the period
Your sites keep serving, your mailboxes keep receiving, your backups keep running. You have paid for the period and you keep it.
At the end of the period
Sites stop serving. Their files, databases and backups are retained for the window shown on the cancellation screen, so a change of mind within that window costs you nothing — resubscribe and everything comes back.
After the retention window
The data is destroyed and cannot be recovered by us or by you. The screen shows the date. If you want a copy, take it before then: Backups → Download, per site, or export the database from the shell.
Domains are separate
A domain you registered here is yours and does not cancel with the hosting. It keeps renewing unless you turn auto-renew off, and you can transfer it away at any time with the authorisation code from its own screen.
What we will not do
We do not delete anything without telling you, we do not hold your data to ransom, and we do not charge a fee to release a domain. If you are leaving because something did not work, a ticket saying so is genuinely useful to us — but it is not a condition of leaving.
