Extras, and how they reach you

One-off purchases that are not a plan — what they are, and what happens after you buy.

An extra is something you buy once rather than something you rent monthly: a migration done for you, a malware clean-up, a control-panel licence, a block of AI credits, a speed audit.

What happens after you pay

Every extra has a delivery, and the extra's own screen shows where it has got to:

  • Ordered — paid for, waiting to start.
  • In progress — somebody or something is working on it. A migration in this state has a
  • ticket attached; open it to talk to whoever is doing the work.

  • Delivered — finished, with a note saying what was done.

Some extras deliver in seconds because they are automatic — credits land immediately, licences install on the next run. Extras done by a person show an estimate, and the ticket is where any question about it belongs.

What an extra never does

It does not change your plan or your renewal date, and it does not repeat. If you want the thing every month, it is an add-on rather than an extra, and Billing → Add-ons is where those live.

Refunds

An extra that has not started is refundable in full. One that has been delivered is not, for the same reason a completed piece of work is not — the money-back window article covers the detail.
