Sending a campaign to your clients
Building an audience, what you may send, and how it reaches people in their language.
A campaign is a message to a set of your clients — a price change, a new service, a maintenance window, an offer.
Choosing who gets it
Campaigns → Audience builds the list from what we already know: plan, service, spend, signup date, country, language, and whether they have a site in a given state. The audience shows its size as you narrow it, so you know before you send whether you are talking to nine people or nine hundred.
Writing it
Write it once, in your own language. It is translated into each recipient's language before it is sent, subject line included, so a client set to Portuguese gets Portuguese.
⭐ Keep merge fields out of idioms. "Your {plan} plan renews on {date}" translates cleanly; a joke about the plan name does not.
What you may send
Service messages — maintenance, price changes, security notices — go to everyone.
⛔ Marketing goes only to clients who have opted in, and the audience builder enforces that: a campaign marked as marketing silently excludes anyone who has not. That is not us being cautious on your behalf; it is the law in most of the places you sell, and the fine lands on you.
After sending
The campaign's screen shows delivered, opened and bounced. A hard bounce marks that address undeliverable so the next campaign does not damage your sending reputation on it.
