Authentication

Send an API key as a bearer token. The key must carry the sites.view permission; a key without it is refused with 403, not 404.

This endpoint takes no organisation id. Your key already identifies the organisation it belongs to, and the response is scoped to it.

Try it

Replace anything in angle brackets with your own values, and the key placeholder with a key from your dashboard.

curl -X GET https://api.zinndigital.com/v1/sites/{siteId}/hosting \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer zdk_live_…"

Signed in? The API console in your dashboard fills in your real organisation id and your own key, and runs the request against the live API so you can see the actual response. Open this endpoint in the API console

Details

The customer-facing control surface for a site on the resold hosting range (docs/62 §3.7): which package template it was created on, which data centre it lives in, and what that package can actually do. `features` are **generated** from the vendor's own 107-key capability matrix and mapped to our stable machine identifiers, so a feature can never be advertised after the capability behind it is gone (docs/62 §6g). They are i18n key suffixes, not display text: the client renders each as `hosting.feature.<id>`. A site that does not run on a vendor hosting package — anything on our own fleet — has no such resource and returns `404`, exactly as an out-of-scope or unknown id does. Requires `sites.view`.

Response

NameTypeRequiredWhat it is
deploy_targetstringYesWhere the site runs (a `DeployTarget` value, e.g. `twentyi_shared`). A machine identifier the client localises, never rendered raw.
package_typestringYesThe vendor package-template reference the site was created on. Staff-facing: it ties a support conversation to a template.
package_type_labelstringYesThe package template's own label at the vendor. **Staff-facing only** — it is vendor-authored English and must not be rendered to a customer (§2.7).
locationstringYesThe data centre code the site lives in, or empty when the customer chose none and the vendor's default applied.
featuresstring[]YesOur stable feature identifiers, generated from the vendor's capability matrix. i18n key suffixes (`hosting.feature.<id>`), never display text and never a vendor string. A capabi…
allowancesobjectYesCustomer-visible quantities, keyed by our stable identifier.
readybooleanYesWhether the vendor reports the package's setup as complete. Reported rather than inferred from the site's status: our row says what we asked for, this says what the vendor finis…
