What it is
A backlink is the one part of your SEO that somebody else controls. It can be removed when a site is redesigned, when an editor changes, when a page is pruned, or when whoever placed it stops being paid — and nothing tells you.
This add-on takes a reading of your link profile every week and keeps the difference. New links are recorded with where they came from; lost links are recorded with the date they went. That difference is the product.

Why weekly is the right cadence
A link profile does not change hourly, and pretending otherwise sells noise. A weekly reading is frequent enough that a removed link is noticed within days, and infrequent enough that what you see is signal.
It is also what lets us price it the way we do. Readings are taken in bulk rather than one domain at a time, so adding a domain costs us almost nothing and we do not have to charge you as though it did.

How far back does the history go?
From the day you start monitoring. We cannot tell you when a link disappeared before we were watching — no one honestly can.
Will you tell me if a link is harmful?
We show you the authority and the source so you can judge. We do not publish a 'toxic' score, because those are opinions dressed as measurements.
Does this include disavow files?
No. This add-on measures; it does not act on your Search Console account.
Do I have to host with you to buy this?
No. Backlink monitoring works on any domain, wherever it is hosted. You need a Zinn Digital® account, which is free to create, and you add the domain you want watched.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. It is billed monthly with no minimum term, and cancelling stops the next charge. The history we have already collected for you stays readable for as long as your account is open.
What happens if my account is suspended or unpaid?
Checks stop while the account is not in good standing, and start again by themselves once it is — you do not have to ask. Everything already collected stays visible in the meantime, with its real age shown, so you are never looking at stale data that is pretending to be current.
