A scheduled review is a question about your ad account with a date on it. On that day Zinn® Ads answers it by itself — whether or not anyone is signed in — and puts the answer, with the decision it recommends, in your daily e-mail and on the account's card in the dashboard.
What a review can ask
- Did these campaigns bring results? Clicks, cost and conversions since the review started,
against the same number of days before.
- Did this change work? Pick a change made in the last 30 days. If results got worse, the
recommended decision is to undo it.
- Which campaigns spend with no result? Campaigns that spent and got clicks but no conversion;
the recommended decision is to pause them.
- Has the Quality Score moved? (Google Ads) The account's Quality Score and how many keywords
have a below-average landing page, against the reading taken when the review was made.
The autopilot also schedules a review whenever it starts a test, and settles it when the test ends.
How the answer is reached
Each review has its own timer. Around 06:00 UTC on its day it reads the figures the daily audit stored and compares the review's days with the same number of days before them. With fewer than 20 clicks it says it is too early to tell rather than guess. If the stored figures are more than 3 days older than the review, it says the figures could not be read and judges nothing. The same figures always give the same answer.
Deciding
A due review offers its decisions as buttons: keep it as it is, pause the campaigns, undo the change, or give it 7 more days (it is then judged again). One click decides. A pause or an undo goes through the same approval queue and spend limits as every other change, and can itself be undone for 30 days with Undo this decision, which opens the review again. You can cancel a review that has not been decided; nothing in your account changes.
