What it is
Most slow sites are not slow because of anything exotic. They are slow because caching was never configured for how the site actually behaves, because images are being served at four times the size anybody sees them, and because two or three queries run on every request that did not need to.
This is a person going through that list on your site. We measure before, do the work, and measure after on our own testing hardware — so the improvement is a number rather than an impression.

For a larger or more complicated site, the expert site speed-up is a deeper engagement with tiers by site size. Add-ons are bought per site from your dashboard and appear on your normal invoice — no separate account, no second bill and no minimum term. Prices exclude tax, which is worked out from your billing country at checkout.
How this differs from the speed-up service
This is a tuning pass: a fixed list of high-value changes applied well, at a one-off price that suits a normal business site.
The expert site speed-up is a bigger engagement, priced by site size, for cases where the answer is architectural rather than configurational — a store with thousands of products, a site with a plugin doing something fundamentally expensive. If the tuning pass is not enough we will say so rather than repeating it.

Will you break my site?
Caching is the part that can, which is why it is configured against how your site actually behaves rather than switched on generically. Changes are made with a restore point available.
How much faster will it be?
We will not put a number on it before we have looked, because the honest answer depends entirely on what is wrong. You get real measurements before and after, which is the only figure worth having.
Do I need this if I already have your caching?
Our caching gets you most of the way on a normal site. This is for when it is not enough — usually images, third-party scripts or the site's own queries, none of which caching can fix.
Is this a subscription?
