Keep the Page Builder Sandwich cloud library in your own storage

Step by step: connect your own Cloudflare R2 or S3-compatible bucket to the Page Builder Sandwich cloud library, test it, and switch it on.

You can keep your Page Builder Sandwich cloud library in your own storage instead of Zinn Digital® storage: a Cloudflare R2 bucket, Amazon S3, or any S3-compatible service (Backblaze B2, Wasabi, MinIO). Your designs then go straight from your site to your bucket; nothing is sent to Zinn Digital®, and no Zinn Digital® quota applies.

Cloudflare R2, step by step

In the Cloudflare dashboard open R2 Object Storage and create a bucket. Keep it

private: do not connect a public domain to it.

Open Manage API tokens and create an API token with Object Read & Write, limited to

that one bucket.

Copy the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key it shows. The secret is shown only once.
Copy your account's S3 endpoint, https://<account-id>.r2.cloudflarestorage.com. The region

is auto.

Amazon S3 or another S3-compatible service

Create a private bucket.
Create an access key that may read, write and delete objects in that bucket only.
Find the S3 endpoint (for Amazon S3, https://s3.<region>.amazonaws.com) and the region.
Amazon S3 uses virtual-hosted addresses: switch Path-style addresses off. Most other

services use path-style addresses.

Connect it in WordPress

Open Page Builder Sandwich → Templates & kits → Storage.
Enter the endpoint, bucket, region, access key ID and secret, then choose Save.
Choose Test connection. The plugin writes a small test file, reads it back and deletes it,

and shows each step. Fix anything it reports before going on.

Switch on Keep my library in this storage.

Your keys are stored encrypted on your site and are never shown again, never returned to the browser and never sent to Zinn Digital®. To change a key, type a new one; leave the field empty to keep the stored one.

Good to know

Team libraries always use Zinn Digital® storage.
Designs are kept in the folder you chose (pbs-library/ by default): index.json, one file per

design, and each image once.

Removing the settings from a site does not delete anything in your bucket.
