Refund Policy

New paid hosting plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee, and many plans offer a card-free trial first. This page sets out exactly what is refundable, what is not, and how to ask for a refund.

About this policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026.

This Refund Policy is part of the Terms of Service between you and Zinn Digital® Ltd (Company No. 16385785), 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, and expands on the refund terms there. It explains how refunds work across our hosting plans, domains, add-ons and other charges. Nothing in it affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

1. The 30-day money-back guarantee

New paid hosting plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the service is not right for you, contact us within 30 days of your first payment for that plan and we will refund that first payment in full.

The guarantee covers the first payment for a new plan on your account. It is intended for genuine evaluation of the service, not repeated sign-up-and-refund cycles on the same or linked accounts, which we may decline. Many plans also offer a card-free trial, so you can evaluate the platform before you pay at all — where a trial is available, that is the lowest-risk way to try before buying.

2. What the guarantee covers

Within the 30-day window, the money-back guarantee applies to the first payment for:

  • New Footprint-Free (PBN) hosting plans.
  • New mainstream hosting plans — managed WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, static and application hosting.
  • New reseller and agency hosting plans.

3. What is not covered

Some charges are pass-through or consumption-based, so they cannot fall under the money-back guarantee. The following are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise:

  • Domain registrations, renewals and transfers — these are billed by, and passed straight through to, the registry the moment they are processed, and we cannot recover the cost.
  • Other third-party pass-through charges, such as premium TLS certificates or paid services activated on a third-party account on your instruction.
  • Usage- or consumption-based charges that have already been incurred (for example, metered add-on usage or resources already consumed).
  • Renewal charges after the initial 30-day window (see section 5).
  • Charges on an account suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Add-ons, extras and services

One-off services and extras — such as a managed migration, malware cleanup, or a professional-services task — are refundable before the work has started. Once we have begun or delivered the work, the charge reflects work done and is not refundable, except where the law provides otherwise or the delivered work was materially not as described.

Recurring add-ons attached to a subscription follow the same treatment as the plan they are attached to: cancelling stops the next renewal, and the add-on runs to the end of the period already paid for.

5. Renewals and cancellation

We email you before each renewal, so a charge is never a surprise, and you can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not cut short.

Renewal charges after the first 30-day window are not automatically refundable, because you have already had the benefit of the earlier period and been reminded before the renewal. We do, however, look at individual circumstances in good faith — for example, an unused renewal reported quickly, or a clear billing error — and we will always correct a mistake on our side.

6. How to request a refund

Ask us — refunds are handled by our team rather than a self-service button, so we can confirm eligibility and get it right. Open a support ticket from your dashboard, or email office@zinndigital.com, telling us the account, the plan or charge, and the reason. For the money-back guarantee, contact us within 30 days of the first payment.

We aim to review refund requests promptly. We may ask a question or two to understand the issue, and where a request falls outside this policy we will explain why and look for a fair resolution.

7. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method wherever possible. Where that is not possible — for example, an expired card or a closed wallet — we agree an alternative with you, which may include credit to your account wallet that you can spend against future invoices.

Refunds are issued in the currency of the original payment. Once we issue a refund it is usually settled within a few business days, though the exact timing depends on your bank or payment provider. Any difference caused by exchange-rate movement between payment and refund is a matter for your provider, not something we control.

8. Disputes and chargebacks

If something looks wrong on your bill, please contact us first — almost every billing issue is faster to fix directly than through a card dispute, and we would always rather put it right. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to the related services being suspended while the dispute is resolved.

Nothing in this policy affects your right to dispute a charge with your bank or card provider where you are genuinely entitled to.

9. Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer, you may have additional rights under the consumer-protection law of your country, including rights to cancel and to a refund in certain circumstances. This policy does not limit or replace those rights; it sits alongside them. Where your statutory rights give you more than this policy, your statutory rights apply.

10. How to contact us

Frequently asked questions

How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?

Contact us within 30 days of your first payment for a new paid hosting plan and we will refund that first payment in full. It is meant for genuine evaluation of one new plan, not repeated sign-up-and-refund cycles.

Are domains refundable?

No. Domain registrations, renewals and transfers are billed straight through to the registry the moment they are processed, and we are charged for them immediately, so they cannot be refunded. If you are unsure about a domain, ask us before you buy it.

Can I get a refund on a renewal?

Renewals after the first 30 days are not automatically refundable, because you have had the earlier period and we remind you before every renewal. We do look at individual circumstances in good faith, and we always fix a genuine billing error on our side.

How do I actually request a refund?

Open a support ticket from your dashboard or email office@zinndigital.com with the account, the charge and the reason. Refunds are reviewed by our team so we can confirm eligibility and handle it correctly.

How long does a refund take to arrive?

We aim to process approved refunds quickly, back to your original payment method in the original currency. Once issued it is usually settled within a few business days, though the final timing depends on your bank or payment provider.

What if I already have a card-free trial available?

Then use it — a trial lets you evaluate the platform before paying anything, which is the lowest-risk way to try it. The money-back guarantee is there for plans that do not have a trial, or if you decide to buy straight away.
